Charles has extensive knowledge in many diverse areas of expertise. From the dirt to the top floor!

 Charles guides our organization's workflow strategy and organization of all essential business processes. He reviews the efficiency of our current business functions, planning changes and updates to day-to-day operations and collaborating with other executive staff to set and meet business objectives 

Charles attended 3 years at LSU studying Architecture & Information Technology. Charles moved to Houston, Texas and attended and graduated from the University of Houston, BS Business Administration focused on Computer Sciences.

Charles owns CSQ Technologies Inc since 2008, where he is a business consultant mentoring other entrepreneurs in developing their businesses. 

Charles is a genius with a high IQ  and it shows in all his work and his accomplishments.  His business and  development skills is off the chart showing his expertise in all his work.

Charles currently has 4 inventions with patents pending.

Michelle and her son, Charles Puckett, organized Blooming Butterflies to make a difference in our communities and world. Their love to help others and our pollinators is a mission they will accomplish.

Michelle traveled the US with her parents & family during her elementary and high school years since her parents were partners with Robert Trent Jones, Sr designer & building golf courses.

Michelle attended college at the University of Alabama, Birmingham, and graduated from Mississippi College receiving her BS Business Administration. 

Michelle has owned 12 successful businesses and currently owns Designer Diva Resale, nonprofit organization for 17 years. Designer Diva Resale is a partner with Blooming Butterflies assisting individually owned battered women/children shelters with clothing & necessities needed to start over with their lives. Mentoring and teaching these women as well as autistic & intellectually challenged young adults how to run a garden nursery and save our pollinators.

Michelle brings more than you can image to Blooming Butterflies and is extremely happy to contribute to saving our environment and helping our communities.

Michelle provides leadership and direction in fulfilling and advancing the mission of Blooming Butterflies. She leads the Organization in its achievement of its operational and strategic goals including the success of the Organization's fund and donor development, fiscal management, grants and program operations, board relations, human capital management, community relations and administrative matters.

Janet Leal, Administrator & Lead Researcher

Janet has her degree in Economics. She has been successful in her and her late husband, Larry, successful Commercial Real Estate business.

Janet is in the process of researching, learning and to be certified as one of our Horticulturist.

Horticulture is the art of cultivating plants in gardens to produce food and medicinal ingredients, or for comfort and ornamental purposes. Horticulturists are agriculturists who grow flowers, fruits and nuts, vegetables, and herbs, as well as ornamental trees and plants.

Janet is the Administrator for Designer Diva Resale, a nonprofit where we mentor young adults with disabilities and intellectually challenged adults.  Janet keeps the warehouse in order and the customers happy with her unique skills as a personal shopper.

Janet brings the knowledge and happiness to Blooming Butterflies, educating and assisting in every way possible to make our projects successful.

Sassy is our Service "Comfort" Pup for the past 15 years.  Sassy loves to go to the battered women/children shelters comforting the women and children, making them smile every time we visit. 

Sassy has visited children in the hospital taking stuffed bears to them and delivering them personally to the children at their bedside. 

Sassy has visited the nursing homes bringing smiles to each senior citizen.  She loves to comfort and love all.

Sassy goes to work with Michelle at Designer Diva Resale, greeting the customers, walking with the elderly, comforting customers that are using walkers and wheelchairs.  Sassy has detected cysts, cancerous tumors, and other illnesses in our customers in the past.  Sassy has detected squeaky toys inside dogs which saved their lives. Sassy is the Grand Diva at Designer Diva Resale, our partner with Blooming Butterflies.

Sassy has helped open many, many bags of dirt for Michelle and our volunteers while planting the gardens at the shelters and at home.

Sassy is trained to locate butterflies on the ground so we can help them if needed.

Sassy is all about LOVE, caring, sensitive, sweet and considerate of others.

Rosemary was our Creative & Inspiring Mentor for our fundraisers.

Rosemary is Michelle's Mother and Charles's Grandmother.  Sadly, we lost her, (our best friend), suddenly, May 16, 2022.

We will have a dedicated meditating garden area in memory of Rosemary.  This area will have all her favorite flowers with windchimes she collected and loved.

Rosemary was "our central contact station" as this is how we all knew what everyone was doing and how we should pray for each other. 

Rosemary taught us ways to care for plants and had numerous marketing ideas to share with the rest of the board members.  She contributed craft ideas and numerous ways to raise funds in our fundraisers.

Rosemary was the Chief Operational Officer, Carter Golf Inc., worked to build this golf course business to a multi million dollar business.

She loved life, plants, butterflies and her family.  We will always love you and you will remain in our hearts and an Angel on Blooming Butterflies board.
